I’m coming from afar. Where can I park and find lodging?
Near, far, wherever you are, we’re so glad you’re coming to visit Whiting, IN for the fest. Visit our Find Us page to get all the information on nearby parking and hotels.
Can I bring strollers to the fest?
Of course; we are a family festival. However, please note that the later hours of the fest can get quit crowded.
Can I bring a cooler into the fest?
Pierogi Fest® does not allow guests to bring coolers with outside alcoholic beverages into the festival. We encourage attendees to go to the Beer Garden or Silver Streak Lounge Garden (or both!) during the fest! Learn more about what's on tap in both gardens during the fest here.
Is there an admission fee to get into the fest?
Nope! There is no charge to enter the festival, though you will want to bring money for food, drink, and souvenirs.
Can you bring dogs to Pierogi Fest®?
Yes! Pierogi Fest® allows dogs. However, Pierogi Fest® can get very hot and crowded with over 300,000 people in attendance each year. If you do decide to bring your pup, take a picture of your furry friend with the hashtag #PierogiPups for a chance to be featured on the Pierogi Fest Instagram.
What happens if it starts raining?
A little rain never hurt anybody! Rain or shine, the fest will continue on. The only way the fest will close would be due to a National Weather Service announcement. It is up to the discretion of the vendors if they would like to continue service should the weather not cooperate with our polka party.
What time does the fest start?
The 30th Annual Pierogi Fest® will take place July 26, 27, & 28, 2024!
The festival hours are 11am-11pm Friday July 26th, 11am-11pm Saturday, July 27th,
and 11am-5pm Sunday, July 28th.
Does Pierogi Fest® serve gluten-free and/or vegan pierogi?
We cannot guarantee that any of our vendors will serve gluten-free and/or vegan pierogi during Pierogi Fest®. This is up to each specific vendor, as these types of pierogi need to be cooked differently and separately from traditional pierogi. As much as we would like to, we unfortunately cannot meet the needs of every attendee. Find our 2024 food vendor listing here.
